Ms. Hulme joined the firm in May 2022. She has been interested in helping families for as long as she can remember, often being approached in public places as a confidante for other’s problems. Cadence took the chance on law school after attending a seminar during her Master’s in Social Work program. Cadence graduated from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 2011.
She was a floating law clerk for the NJ Superior Court, Essex Vicinage, Family Division in 2012, assisting the Family Judges and law clerks with motions, mediation, and Orders/child support guidelines, and then clerked for The Honorable Wayne Forrest, J.S.C., for his first year on the bench from 2012-2013. Cadence assisted the Judge in mediating matters, running his calendar, and interacting with litigants on family and domestic violence matters.
Cadence worked for the Department of Children and Families as a Legal Specialist for a couple of years before joining a non-profit legal services provider, where she was a staff attorney for 7 years handling a variety of areas such as housing, public benefits, and all aspects of family cases. Cadence worked extensively with victims of domestic violence and brings that knowledge to the firm.
Cadence graduated from Montclair State University in 2002 with a degree in Italian and graduated from Rutgers University with a Master’s in Social Work in 2007. Cadence grew up in Monmouth County and is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association.
